Kenn Ross 羅凱 (Frank Kenneth Ross II), Managing Director for Minerva Project is under investigation for grand theft and fraud after he intentionally and unlawfully manipulated evidence in an attempt to steal RMB117,000 (USD 17,500) from his victims. The penalty for this crime could be up to 5 years in prison, travel ban and assets frozen.

The investigation was launched on 30 September 2020 in Shanghai after Mr Ross presented fraudulent documentation in a scheme to cheat the victims out of RMB117,000 (USD 17,500). The victims have filed for liabilities in the criminal courts of Shanghai.

Much media attention will be put onto this case because of exploitation during COVID19 and the tragic circumstances this has brought to so many. Mr Ross, a millionaire with a high profile in the media, has claimed to revolutionise education and care about charitable causes. This investigation raises a lot of questions about his integrity and professionalism.
